For about a half hour yesterday morning, the sky cleared and turned this brilliant blue before it clouded over again, providing an amazing contrast with the frost-covered trees.
I love to spend time outdoors, and going out with a camera in my hand makes me so much more aware of everything around me. It's amazing the things I notice that I would otherwise walk by without a glance. I am inspired by the beauty of the different seasons in the Lakes Country of Minnesota, where I live. I hope through my photography to share a little bit of the world as I have come to see it through my lens. I was honored to have my image "Another Day at the Lodge" published in the December 2019 issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine. I have seen it twice this winter, and each time for only about half an hour just after the sun broke through morning fog, so tried to get out and take it advantage of it!
