Out for a stroll in the country on a summer evening, I stopped at the end of the road to watch the sun set. I glanced over to my left, and suddenly this adorable little donkey had appeared on the hill in a pasture to watch the show along with me.
I love to spend time outdoors, and going out with a camera in my hand makes me so much more aware of everything around me. It's amazing the things I notice that I would otherwise walk by without a glance. I am inspired by the beauty of the different seasons in the Lakes Country of Minnesota, where I live. I hope through my photography to share a little bit of the world as I have come to see it through my lens. I was honored to have my image "Another Day at the Lodge" published in the December 2019 issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine.
