As the sun rises over the Grand Canyon, the warm morning light awakens the sleeping giant. This was my first visit to the Grand Canyon, and it is certainly easy to understand why it is considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
I love to spend time outdoors, and going out with a camera in my hand makes me so much more aware of everything around me. It's amazing the things I notice that I would otherwise walk by without a glance. I am inspired by the beauty of the different seasons in the Lakes Country of Minnesota, where I live. I hope through my photography to share a little bit of the world as I have come to see it through my lens. I was honored to have my image "Another Day at the Lodge" published in the December 2019 issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine.
