Penny, as you might know, I am in love with you Captain Ed series. I am moved by the simplicity of your compositions. Your captures make me feel as if I'm really there viewing the surroundings. What a fine tribute to the living spirit of Ed and his family. Well done! Voted PS: I love your new profile picture picture. Your open and friendly personality really shine forth.

Penny Meyers replied:

Doug, I am so glad you are enjoying this series... I can't wait until spring finally arrives here and I can get out and get a new shot of it! I really appreciate your support and encouragement!

Great shot of an interesting structure. The vulture is a perfect finishing touch for this dying house. VF. Seen from the new Anything Old group.

Penny Meyers replied:

Oh wow, I never thought of the vulture in that sense here, Gary... you're absolutely right! Thanks so much for your comments and VF!!

Love old rustic and worn barns, houses and cabins and this is a real find to have a visitor in the window! Like the brown tones against that bright blue sky! fav vtd

Penny Meyers replied:

Thanks so much, Rosanne! The really funny thing was, when I first saw something move in the window I thought it was a man, and it made me really nervous that there was a man hiding out in the old house and here I was with a camera pointed at him, and out in the middle of nowhere. LOL!
