The dew-covered grass appeared to be sparkling with diamonds, and it was fun to see this damselfly come to rest on the bedazzled blade.
I love to spend time outdoors, and going out with a camera in my hand makes me so much more aware of everything around me. It's amazing the things I notice that I would otherwise walk by without a glance. I am inspired by the beauty of the different seasons in the Lakes Country of Minnesota, where I live. I hope through my photography to share a little bit of the world as I have come to see it through my lens. I was honored to have my image "Another Day at the Lodge" published in the December 2019 issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine. You can find some of my work at Bridgette's Main Frames in Perham, MN, and at the Red Door Art Gallery in Wahpeton, ND. I hope you enjoy the shots I've chosen to share. Thanks for stopping...

WOW!!! Penny, This is perfection. The dew-covered grass looks like sparkling crystals with beautiful light and bokeh...what a fantastic capture. The little damselfly certainly adds to this gorgeous image. Nicely done, my friend. v/f
