Description
As I stood on Dock Street in charming Cedar Key, Florida, watching the sun rise over the Gulf of Mexico, I happened to look down and saw the silhouette of this bird resting at the base of a post beneath the building next to me. As the light was streaming in between the posts, it almost appeared to be scribbled through the shadows on the water underneath the building.
