Welcome home; we left the light on for you. The setting sun shines through a back window and creates a sunburst in the side window of this abandoned farmhouse on a cold winter evening.
This is an ongoing series of photos taken of a little old farmstead in West Central Minnesota. It is owned by a rural neighbor whose dad grew up here. I don't know if Ed was actually a Captain of anything, other than his farm, but he was affectionately known as "Captain Ed." I am attempting to capture it in different seasons and different situations over time.
