This family of five trumpeter swans, 2 adults with 3 juveniles, enjoys a quiet morning shortly before sunrise on a calm Minnesota lake. A third adult was floating around a short distance from the family, and here we see one of the adult family members taking off to chase the lone swan across the lake.

I love to spend time outdoors, and going out with a camera in my hand makes me so much more aware of everything around me.
